Massachusetts Department of Public Health (nationally certified lists)
Massachusetts radon professionals
80 people compiled from official MA DPH PDFs. 56 measurement only, 11 mitigation only, 13 both. Source lists updated 07/08/2026. Retrieved 2026-09-08 (US/Pacific).
If you are not sure you need a pro yet, see when a DIY radon test kit is enough or how to test a home for radon.
Massachusetts does not certify radon professionals and does not issue a state radon license. MA DPH republishes monthly lists of people certified by approved national radon proficiency programs (NRPP or NRSB). Names, companies, cities, and phones are transcribed from the official PDFs — nothing invented. A professional only needs certification from one of the two agencies; the certification is held by the person, not the business. Please note that not all professionals listed provide residential radon services. Some firms list different business names on the measurement vs mitigation PDFs (for example Roux Associates vs Apex Companies); both are shown when they differ. Town spellings follow the PDF (including Haverill as printed).
Always verify the credential is still current with MA DPH, NRPP, or NRSB before hiring. This index does not rank contractors or take referral fees.
